Canto 13.

Canto 13:

Virgil takes my arm. "Dude, check this shit out." He gestures towards an endless wood, twisted trees bursting from tangled thickets. Hideous bare-breasted Harpies flit from tree to tree, their lamentations pealing across the plain upon which we stand. "It's Suicide Town," he explains. "All those trees? There's suicide people in there. They killed themselves, and now they're fuckin trees. Isn't that gnarly?"

I nod in agreement. I have observed few gnarlier things.
