Judd.
Dragging myself out of bed every morning takes work. More work than it used to.
I never thought about the future, when I was young, when I could impersonate him in his golden years... Taxi, Ordinary People... the crowds would flock to me, the money, the women, the fast times! Now I wish time had moved slower. I need to dye my hair, tape back my jowls, just to pass muster as Arthur Pope in 1988's "Running on Empty." Those salad days of his Oscars and Primetime Emmys are long behind me.
Just as my father, and his before him, I will perform my duties as the world official Judd Hirsch impersonator, until I too pass on into the quiet dark.
I have no heir. The memory of Judd Hirsch dies with me. Maybe it should have died with him.
But god, what a star!
